Peter's interest in tech-support began as a geology student at UC Berkeley, where he worked primarily on digital mapping and real-time GPS data collection. He taught digital field mapping to Berkeley undergrad's, as well as worked at the Berkeley Space Sciences Lab as a mapping specialist and IT analyst.
After graduating, his interests focused on computing and tech-support. He worked with several companies in Berkeley, California (Stillwater Sciences and Technicon). A year later, Peter moved to New Zealand where he worked as a IT Specialist for Ra Productions animation studio. In 2002, Peter returned to academia as an IT Consultant at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.
Upon returning to California in 2005, he started Tech-Tonics and began full time free-lance IT support and web development in Marin County.

Brent started his career in Technology as a Data Processing Assistant at the
County of Sonoma. Moving up to Computer Operator before leaving the County
to contract with Hewlett Packard as a Computer Support and Set-up
Technician.
After a few years he moved to Silicon Valley and continued working as a
Computer Support Technician. In 2001 he was hired on as a full time employee
as an Executive Support Specialist. In this roll he was assigned to the
Chief Information Officer and their direct staff for all computer support
needs. During the last few years at Hewlett Packard he was asked to move
into a Project and Program Manager role for the Bay Area. In this role his
greatest achievements were deploying the first North America Voice Over IP
installation at the Cupertino Campus and being part of the managing project
team to restore and make the 367 Addison Ave Hewlett Packard Garage / House
an historic monument.
After being a part of Hewlett Packard’s work force reduction program he
moved his family North to Sonoma County.
Brent enjoys working with both MAC and Windows based systems, designing and
building networks, and helping people with all their computing needs
